Campuskinder Crèche

The Campuskinder are located in Maxvorstadt, directly behind the main building of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU). Both of Munich's large universities, the LMU and the Technical University of Munich (TUM), as well as the Academy of Fine Arts Munich are close to the facility. The nearby English Garden, the playground behind the Milchhäusl, the riding school in the Königinstraße, the playground in the Leopoldpark and the playground in front of the Art Academy are great for excursions or going for a walk.

The crèche has three large rooms: a large, bright group room with a large window façade facing the Amalienstraße, a pleasant extra room where the children can slide, climb, jump and play, as well as a cosy sleep room. Furthermore, the facility has a crèche-appropriate bathroom, a kitchen and an office. Prams and buggies can be parked in the buggy room right next to the entrance of the crèche. In the Salinenhof of the LMU, we have our own a small garden with a sand pit.

We take care of children of parents who are studying at a university the Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern is in charge of, as well as those of employees of the LMU Munich.
In the case of LMU employees, the following criteria must be met: at least one parent must be working at least part-time at the LMU as scientific or non-academic staff or have a postgraduate scholarship.
