Location
The crèche is located in the district Obergiesing, right next to the Weißensee-Park. It is directly opposite to the kindergarten and the school. In order to reach the facility, take the U-Bahn to St. Quirin-Platz and then switch to the bus 220/147 (exit: Traunsteiner Straße) or walk 850 metres to the crèche.
The Facility’s Rooms
The crèche is located in Obergiesing, in the ground floor of a newly built hall of residence of the Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern.
Two large and bright group rooms make up the heart of the crèche; their large glass façades provide a view of and access to the childcare centre’s own garden. A door connects the two group rooms. Both group rooms give access to their own age-appropriate sanitary facilities and sleep room. The dining area is situated in our spacious hall, which offers the children lots of room while enjoying their meals.
The building’s multi-purpose room is available for various educational offers. The Weißensee-Park is located very close to the crèche and is used for excursions and walks if the weather is nice.
Whose Children Do We Look After
We take care of children of parents who are studying at a university the Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern is in charge of, as well as those of employees of the supporting association “Stud. Eltern-Kind-Initiativen e.V.” and the Studierendenwerk who live in Munich.
