In addition to the general and field-specific language courses offered by the universities, the “Volkshochschulen” (adult education centres) in Munich, Rosenheim and Freising, by the organisation AEGEE (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l'Europe, European Students’ Forum) as well as by numerous private institutes, the Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern’s students also have the opportunity to take part in a variety of multicultural events as part of the cultural programme, ranging from workshops on “international cultural standards” to international theatre workshops and an intercultural project seminar Come to Munich - be at home.
