Food, drinks, live music, swapping a couple of treasures and lots more! All of this can be done at our 3rd Verschenk’s Festival!

Verschenk’s Festival
Perhaps you still have one or the other treasure lying about at home that you don’t really need any more but which is definitely too good to throw away? Then take it along and make others happy. You can lay out your treasures all around the forum1 or have a look around for useful things yourself.

Meet your (new) neighbours, enjoy some food, listen to music and swap a couple of treasures – that’s what we’ll all be doing at the Verschenk’s Festival between 4 and 10 p.m. in the forum1 in the Olympiadorf.

Anything that can be easily carried with one hand and is still in good condition can be given away!

Programme

Verschenk's (give away/gifting) forum: From 4pm to 10pm, we will once again be giving away everything that is too good for the bin, from Matchbox cars to coffee machines.

Repair Café: From 4 to 7 pm, our Repair Café team will also be gifting their help with repairing various items this time.

Music: From 4 pm, Ahmed will provide the right sound with summery tunes. From 7 pm: The band Gloom Index will be there for the second time and will get us in the mood with their live music. If you need a break from dancing, you can listen to the music while relaxing in the deck chairs or sitting about on the steps throughout the event.

Low-cost drinks are also available this year from the Bierstube.

Food will be provided by the Bioinsel.

There will also be a children's programme.

Olytopia is also currently working on an exhibition on waste separation and interactive information walls on good living in the Olympic Village.

In addition to EIG and Olywelt, the GRAS committeefrom the Students' Association in the Olympic Centre will also be represented with a stand and will have paints with which treasures found at the Verschenk's Forum can be embellished.

Last but not least, the handbook on the use of photovoltaics will be handed over to the Olympic Village on the evening. EIG and Olytopia will accept it on behalf of the Olympic village community and will be available to answer questions together with other representatives of the working group.

This year the Verschenk's Festival takes place as part of the Olympiadorf Festival and continues on Saturday and Sunday with the Kultur Frestival and the Spiel&Sport Festival!
