Studienstarthilfe

First-semester students can now apply for “Studienstarthilfe”.

The Studienstarthilfe is intended for young people who are enrolling at university for the first time and will be younger than 25 years of age once their studies begin. Furthermore, the future students must have received welfare benefits (“Sozialleistungen”) such as “Bürgergeld” in the month preceding the start of their studies.

Studienstarthilfe must be applied for by a certain deadline! An application can only be submitted by the end of the month following the start of the study programme.
