Student District Olympisches Dorf

These halls of residence, which have been serving as student accommodation in the former women’s olympic village since 1972, offer almost 2000 accommodation units. One part of the halls are the large number of bungalows, which give the appearance of a small independent village. Another part consists of the tower blocks, from which you have a great view of the Alps when the weather is good. After their renovation in 2022, the stepped buildings make up the third part of the Olympisches Dorf. No matter where you are offered a room here, all three options will be your own accommodation unit including a small kitchen unit and bathroom. Lots of families and single parents live here as the proximity to the Olmpiapark cannot be beaten. There are lots of things being offered in the Olympisches Dorf, also by the „Verein der Studenten im Olympiazentrum e.V.“, which has existed for more than 40 years. The office as well as several other services are located in what is known as the “Alte Mensa”. It also houses the administrative office, the technical department (entrance a) as well as the Advice and Counselling Centre (entrance h) of the Studierendenwerk.
