Hall of Residence Türkenstraße

This hall of residence is situated in the centre of Schwabing, not far from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität. The building, with its listed façade, was erected at the turn of the last century. After it had suffered severe damage during the war, it was rebuilt by the Studierendenwerk. In 1980, it was reconstructed and renovated for the first time since it had been rebuilt. The front part of the hall of residence exclusively offers apartments with their own shower and kitchen unit. In the renovated back part of the building, students use shared kitchens; each room, however, has its own bathroom. This part of the building also offers single-parent apartments; please note that there is no lift available here.
