Important Notice regarding Service Availability
Due to the connection of a photovoltaic system and other extensive technical maintenance work, some of our services will be unavailable all day on Thursday, 05.02.2026. On Friday, 06.02.2026, we expect to be available to a limited extent.
Our Mensas, StuBistros, StuCafés, and StuLounges are not affected by the closure and will remain open for you on these days (details below). The same applies to our daycare centers (Kitas) and halls of residence.
From Monday, 09.02.2026, you will be able to reach all our services again as usual—in person, by phone, and by e-mail!

University Gastronomy
You can visit our Mensas, StuBistros, StuCafés, and StuLounges as usual on Thursday, 05.02.2026, and Friday, 06.02.2026. We look forward to your visit!
- Payment: During the maintenance work, payment is possible with your StudentCard or Legic card (provided there is sufficient credit) or, if applicable, with a Girocard.
- Top-up: Please note that topping up card credit is only possible via Autoload.
- Menu Display: Please be aware that the daily menu cannot be displayed on the website or on the monitors in the canteens during the maintenance. You can find the menu on the signage at the counters on site.
BAföG Office
The telephone consultation hours of the BAföG Office are cancelled on Thursday, 05.02.2026.
Accomodation
The administrative offices of the Housing Department will remain closed on Thursday, 05.02.2026, and Friday, 06.02.2026. In case of emergency, you can reach your caretaker (Hausmeister) via the emergency numbers posted on the information boards.
Advisory Network
The counseling centers can be reached as follows:
- General Advice and Social Counselling / Student Loan Advisory Service: Closed on Thursday, 05.02.2026, and Friday, 06.02.2026.
- Scholarship Advisory Service and Student Coaching: Not reachable by phone or e-mail on Thursday, 05.02.2026. However, scheduled on-site appointments will take place.
- Psychotherapeutic and Psychosocial Counseling Service: Not reachable on Thursday, 05.02.2026, or Friday, 06.02.2026. However, already scheduled in-person appointments will take place.
- Open Consultation for Students expecting or with a Child: On 05.02.2026 and 06.02.2026, this will take place exclusively in person (not by phone or e-mail).
Reception at Leopoldstraße 15
The reception desk at the Student House (Leopoldstraße 15) is staffed, and you can reach our colleagues personally on site. The reception will be again reachable by phone or e-mail from 09.02.2026.
Administration
In general, our administration is closed on Thursday, 05.02.2026, and only limitedly available on Friday, 06.02.2026.
