Our responsibilities
In accordance with its mission statement, the Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern supports students in all social and financial matters, creating good framework conditions to enable students to successfully, smoothly and efficiently complete their studies.
Our key duties include the construction and running of student halls of residence, providing gastronomic services at the various campuses, setting up childcare centres, advisory and counselling services for students in all situations, providing financial support for students as well as cultural and social-life services.
With a staff amounting to roughly 550 employees, the Studierendenwerk looks after currently approx. 140,000 students studying at universities in Munich, Garching, Freising, Rosenheim, Burghausen, Mühldorf a. Inn and Benediktbeuern.
Apprenticeships, training and continuing education
We continuously strive to refine our numerous and interesting tasks via our comprehensive quality management.
