Open Events
In order to provide young parents with up-to-date information and for them to exchange experiences, the Studierendenwerk regularly organizes open meetings and information events. You will be told, for instance, about changes to BAföG regulations, new childcare services or financial support. Apart from that, there is also plenty of time to meet other parents and ask questions.

Join our Familiencafé in Freising
We’d like to invite all students with a child, future students as well as students expecting to our next Familiencafé.
Where: childcare centre "Krabbelstube Weihenstephan" or in their beautiful garden.

Information Event for Students with a Child in Freising

Date: Tuesday, 11 November 2025, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.
Location: online via Zoom
Target Groups:
- Students with children
- Students expecting a child
- Students planning a family
- Future students who have children or are planning a family
You will have the opportunity to meet other (expecting) student parents, ask questions and meet the staff responsible for “Studying with a Child” from various universitities (LMU, TUM, HM) and from the Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern, and will receive up-to-date information.
