Hall of Residence Oberschleißheim

The Oberschleißheim Halls of Residence are situated right next to the Regatta Lake and the rowing regatta course, surrounded by a beautiful countryside. In summer, concerts are held at Lustheim Palace in the town of Oberschleißheim. The large and beautiful palace grounds and an idyllic garden within them are the perfect places to take a relaxing walk; a beer garden provides the opportunity to enjoy Munich's beer garden culture. The first students moved in here in the summer semester of 1997. These halls in the north of Munich were intended to be primarily for veterinary students, as their department was meant to be moved to Oberschleißheim. Because of the fact that this project has been delayed, students from other courses of study can also apply for accommodation here. Whether you’re studying in Munich, Garching or Weihenstepan, Oberschleißheim is conveniently located - all three destinations are only 25 minutes away using public transport.
