Dear landlords, we’re asking for your support!
Like every year, a lot of young people are once again going to begin their studies this autumn at one of the Munich universities, as well as at the universities in Freising, Rosenheim and Garching. For many of our future students, finding affordable accommodation nowadays is even harder than being accepted by a university. It’s especially hard for all the students who need to count every penny.
We therefore ask all of you to support the students in this new and important part of their life and to offer them affordable accommodation! Rent out rooms or flats to students and/or allow your tenants to sublet their accommodation to students for a reasonable price. For every free room will help, even if it’s only for one or two semesters.
Use the Private Accommodation Service of the Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern to rent out rooms to our students. The service supports young students free of charge and in an unbureaucratic way. If you want to rent out one or several reasonably priced rooms to students, you can offer your accommodation free of charge with this service.

If you have accommodation available, you can also register for the homesharing project “Wohnen for Hilfe”. The organisation BEINANDER e. V. matches students with elderly citizens who would like to provide affordable accommodation for receiving a little support in their everyday life in return.
