Wärmefonds office in Leopoldstraße 15
This applies to all BAföG recipients: if you are registered in Munich with your own household, you can apply for financial support from the Stadtwerke München’s “Wärmefonds” [heating funds].

Print out the application and take it, along with all the other required documents, to one of the offices that have been set up for this purpose. The office of the “Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband” is located in the Studentenhaus in Leopoldstraße 15 (opening hours: www.waermefonds.de/anlaufstellen).
The SWM Wärmefonds has been set up in addition to the measures taken by the Federal Government and the State Capital of Munich to provide social support with regard to rising energy costs.
