DUE TO THE CURRENT SITUATION, THE GOLDEN WEIßWURSCHT IN MAY 2021 HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

What is the Golden Weißwurscht?

The “Golden Weißwurscht” has been awarded every year since 1996 at a cabaret evening as part of the music and theatre festival “StuStaCulum”. The gold-plated “Wurscht”, worth 3,000 euros, has repeatedly turned out to be an important step in the carrier of young cabaret artist. For instance, Weißwurscht winner Jess Jochimsen (1997) subsequently performed at the “Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft”, in the ARD cabaret classic “Scheibenwischer” as well as in the “Lustspielhaus”. Martina Schwarzmann, Weißwurscht winner in 2001, has in the meantime won several other prizes, such as the “Deutsche Kabarettpreis” and the audience award of the “Passauer Scharfrichterbeil”. Claus von Wagner, finalist in 2002, has been awarded the “Salzburger Stier” and the “Deutsche Kleinkunstpreis” in 2010, as part of the “Erste Deutsche Zwangsensemble”. Congenial interaction was added to the dramatic composition, which was filled with subtle eroticism.
